Here is a seven-minute interview of Dr. Paul by "The Southern Avenger" Jack Hunter where he thoroughly covers his position on Israel.

Here is an article by Dr. Paul's chief campaign manager, Bruce Fein - who happens to be a Jew!

"Ron Paul no more supports Iran’s development of nuclear weapons than he does the nuclear arsenals of Pakistan, India, or North Korea. But the best way to address the prospect of Iranian membership in the nuclear club is to renounce our current policy of regime change, promise annihilation of any country that employs nuclear weapons against the United States, and leave Israel free to do what it believes is necessary to defend itself…”

When Israel attacked a nuclear reactor in Iraq in 1981, almost the entire U.S. Congress voted to condemn the act. Ron Paul was one of the few dissenters: he voted against the condemnation and in favor of Israel’s right to self-determination.

The whole point of the creation of modern Israel in the first place is so the Jews could be independent and sovereign and take care of themselves. After the war, if the European Jews wanted to live under American protection they'd have moved to Manhattan instead of the desert. Relying on foreign protection is antithetical to Zionism.

In the Bible, the Israelites often got in trouble with God for making alliances with other nations.

Numbers 23:9 For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him: lo, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations.

"You don’t need to do nation building in Israel. ... You don’t need to export democracy to Israel. ... You don’t need to send American troops to defend Israel."

Who is the horrible ANTI-SEMITE ISRAEL HATER who said this?

Okay, the answer is: the CURRENT PRIME MINISTER of ISRAEL - BENJAMIN NETANYAHU!

Now, if the current leader of Israel says we SHOULDN'T do "nation building", we shouldn't "export democracy", and we shouldn't send American troops to the Middle East to defend Israel - WHY ARE WE DOING IT? Why do ignorant Christians DEFEND our war on terror as necessary to defend Israel? And why do Zionist Christians think we are blessing Israel by starting all these wars?

BTW, Bibi also says Israel would be better off without our MONETARY support (apply the same above questions here).

This is indeed the position of Ron Paul, proving Ron Paul's position is the MOST PRO-ISRAEL position of any candidate.
